Yeah. I don’t know the part numbers off the top of my head. But it’s the only lightweight BBU they offer for the gen5 series.Ah gotcha mate
When you mentioned the Guarder lightweight BBU, did you mean the GLK-526A (Light Weight Nozzle Housing for the TM G17/19 Gen5 MOS)?
Are the GLK-529 valve & spring set, GLK-530 loading nozzle and GLK-519 piston lid included with that, or are those all separate bits?
Thanks for the advice by the way — I’m gonna grab the TTI hop unit and a stainless 6.01 barrel. Magwell wise I’ll just go Bomber to keep it simple.
For the magwell install, do I need to remove the lanyard loop first? And once it’s on, does that mean no more backstraps?
Appreciate the help
It doesn’t come with the springs ect, you’re expected to by that stuff separately. However, I’d save yourself a few quid and just transplant the Marui parts into the lightweight BBU.
In regards to the stainless steel barrel. If it’s not a PDI barrel or a nineball power barrel, I wouldn’t waste your money, the OEM Marui barrels are some of the best on the market and you end up having to spend a fair amount of money to get a barrel that’s objectively better.
The nineball power barrel isn’t better either. It just gives you a boost in muzzle energy, which is why it’s worth buying.
Your hop rubber and hop unit are going to make a bigger difference to your accuracy and range.
Yeah you’ll need to remove the Magwell loop and it will interfere with the backstrap iirc.
