This is wild they allowed mags in pistols if holsterd this was bound to happen

I played at a site in Kent where it was common practice to break between games in the field; mags out of rifles, rifles on the ground and eye protection off. I didn't take mine off. After the first game, some late arriving rentals appeared from the safe zone, locked and loaded. They saw a bunch of guys (us) and their rifles came up ready to shoot; lots of shouting dissuaded them. That was one of the worst run sites I have ever played at, second only to TWA.

That's positively professional compared to a cqb site, I can't remember the name of, that if you stood outside it in the street during a game day you could see the BBs whizzing over, and into, the road.

In 24 years ive never played at a site that explicitly said to remove gas mags from holstered pistols, as long as they remain holstered, nor removing batteries from guns, that would be a total faff (plus I've seen AEGs cycle when a battery was connected)
BUT
On any gameday you can look around the safezone & i guarantee there's someone handling a rifle, theirs or someone else's, shouldering it to look down the sights etc, & usually not paying enough attention to what its pointing at.
Personally I rarely even notice what other people are using, it'd have to be rocking horse shit level of rarity for me to give something a second look, never mind rushing over for a fondle lol
