Which Airsoft Gun Should I Purchase

If you're just starting, you don't need one- save the money.

A i am getting other sights for my CM16 Carbine, maybe a red dot sight or eo tech sight, but the CM16's front Iron site is in the way! I have looked at videos on how to remove it but it also takes of the sling mount, and as this doesn't have an R.I.S rail, so, where can i fit one in?!

So as i will be definitely getting the Magpul MBUS Sights, they look awesome and are easy to use! Here they are ---> http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Magpul-MBUS-Back-Up-Sight-Front-Rear-Tactical-PTS-Airsoft-UK-Stock-5016-/171093409831?pt=UK_SportingGoods_OtherSports&var=&hash=item27d5f64027

Going to stick with the Red dot sight from before as they have a variety of reticles, its cheap and easy to use! ----> http://www.airsoftworld.net/gun-accessories/sights-scopes-and-mounts/multi-reticle-holo-sight-1851.html

But still could anyone give me a short list on all the essential gear (all i mean by this is clothing, armor etc.) i need for Airsofting? Thanks

the foresight on an armalite gun doesn't get in the way. You're making the same mistake every new player does and buying loads of shiny but unnecessary stuff because you 'need' it. Save the money you would have spent on MBUS sights (the ones you linked are cheap chinese knock offs too, extremely low quality) and buy another magazine, or a pouch, or put it towards buying better eye protection!

If you're buying any pouches, chest rigs etc Tactical Tailor and Begadi make extremely good products, I have a TT chest rig and it's lasted me 2 years or so, and my Begadi pouches have lasted me that time as well. Begadi also make the famous 'micro' chest rigs which only have mag pouches on them, they come in many camo patterns and they're usually under £30 each.

As for boots, from what I've heard Lowas are very good, however I only trust British Assault Boots. I've owned 2 pairs in the past and they were brilliant on excersizes and during training, there are lightweight versions of them as well.

Gun- don't bother with a pistol, I don't use mine that often nor do the regulars at my site. G&G is a very good choice, however there are G&G Top Tech (better than Combat Machine) models on sale at ProAirsoftSupplies for decent money.

Don't bother buying any accessories for your AEG, all I've done to my MP5 in the 2 years of owning it was put a G&P aimpoint-style sight on it. Foregrips are usually a waste of time, I've seen people who splash out on a £40 foregrip and not use it once during the game day.

Ultimately, don't buy anything until you've got yourself to a skirmish and then onto the UKARA database.

Wow thanks Tac Master, really appreciate your advice. For now, ill stick with the Combat Machine as its lightwieght, and alot less expensive, which gives me room for other accories, my gear, and stuff like that. But maybe ill get that an an 'upgrade' to the Combat Machine. Thanks alot mate!

A real set of MBUS's are about $100/£60 ;)

the PTS ones are still $40-50, £9.99 is guaranteed cheapo clone, regardless of what it says on the packet!

Ok, could you give me a link to where i could buy these sights? Thanks (btw uk based please) i would do it myself but i dont know how to tell

pick that one :P

Aside from the two top techs they are pretty much the same just different barrels and exteriors, at some point you'll just have to decide which one you like best and get it!
