Hey guys, looking to shift my we l85 as it has more problems than I'm willing to deal with. Externally its pretty good, only real visible wear is to the selector. It has the Daniel defense rail installed, and an llm01 clone that I'd probably sell seperately.

In terms of issues, here's what I've got:

Failure to feed (believe this may be due to gen1 bolt having deformed around guide rails, though I can't see any visible signs of this).

Dumping gas (potential trigger mech issues around simple wear and tear, or the above mentioned bolt issues).

Major cool down when it is firing (potential nozzle to mag fitment issue. Tried replacing it with an m4 nozzle but it seems that thats about .2mm wider and therefore won't fit).

I have 7 v2 and 2 v3 mags that are gas tight and don't appear to be the source of the issues and one additional v2 with a missing fill valve. Would it be better to sell these seperately?

Not expecting mega bucks as its what I would consider boneyard, but still not sure how much to ask for as either a spares/repairs job or project gun.

Thanks in advance 😀 7053.webp

No clue on value but if I was in your position I'd part out the handguard, the LLM and the mags. Them alone should bring a decent amount of return as you'll unfortunately not be getting much for the base replica due to
one - how cheap and easy they are to source new now thanks to KY's new warehouse
two - how much replacement would be needed to get it functional

Thanks for that, I did have that feeling as like yours aid new theyre not crazy money anymore. I looked at replacement bolt and trigger pack and thats around 250 ish if buying from ky. Shame they haven't got parts in the UK XD

Parts typically don't take too long to turn up if you did want to fix it and sell on but like you say, the cost of the parts is expensive and it'll really only diminish your returns further.

As for prices on the accessories...
Assuming your DD rail is the Madbull one, they seem to be selling by themselves for £100+ still
WADSM/Element LLM01's are discontinued now and sell for around £50 alone, with the stickers and pressure switch then more around £80 (To the right person that is)

i sold a brand new llm01 elements in the box £100 few months ago let me know when you are listing it first dibs please brought my self another l85

Well ive made the offer, its down to him if its worth it to him. What he does afterwards is between him and whoevers next :). Thanks for your help Aus, always a pleasure :)

Just in case anyone is waiting for this to be posted up, a deal has been struck between myself and Daza, though the remaining mags will be posted up after work if anyone's still interested in those :) Thanks again to Aus for the valuation advice!
