If you're having hop issues with VFC ARs it's a fairly easy fix now.
right handed, i just slightly twist my hand over and thumb reaches the laser and trigger just fine, but i can see how from this pic it looks like it could be difficult.
i grip quite tight on my rifle when presenting so found if the switch was actually where my thumb naturally rests there was a lot of accidental discharge. just my preference, and i like less wires to keep it clean.
Out of curiosity what is the fix as my 416 isn't the best even with a autobot bucking.
Looks great bud. The vfc platform isn't a bad platform in V3 models. I have a 416 and it runs beautifully just the hop system isn't the best. But it's reliable running wise and even ran nice in near 0 temperature.My VFC KAC SR-16 CQB Mod 2 - GBRS Inspired

Ouch you're right not cheap. As if have to buy the hop up and a new outer barrel as it isn't compatible with my 416 barrel.
I bit the bullet on this a purchased all the bits to convert my 416. Went for a steel barrel as a local shop had one in stock and always planned to upgrade to full piece steel barrel.
