TM MP7A1 too powerful on 144a!?

Good afternoon all.

Took my newly acquired TM MP7A1 to site today. Had a fun morning with it. Granted I used it at a woodland game and its very open and an SMG isnt the best choice. Still, Had some fun.

The Afternoon however was not so good. The MP7 chronoed way over limits 1.23J on .28s (Temp was like 21 degrees). The sites limit is 1.14J and it chronoed at 1.05J in the morning.

Luckily I was paranoid of this happening and had my DMR with me that I could swap to but I was disappointed this happened.

Thats using Abbey 144a too, the weaker gas recommended for summer.

Is there a way for me to lower the power more? But then i am worried it will be too weak when its not hotVery disappointed this has happened.

Definitely feeling a bit of buyers remorse on this one.

Nope the internals are all stock TM.

I'd look into getting an npas fitted for it then so you can adjust the output. I don't know anything about TM MP7's so can't comment on which is the best npas, blah blah blah but Jaeger precision does one which I'm sure will be fine
