SRC G36C - charging handle issue

Hi guys this is my 1st post here. I hope you guys can help.

I have just bought an SRC G36c gen 3 as stated in the subject title. However, when i pull back the charging handle to reveal the hop-up system, it can be kinda stiff and does not release on its own. It has to be pushed foward again. Its not a big deal tbh but I wondered if any of you guys had a fix for this.

hi mate,

Had the same thing on mine.

If you have the knowledge on taking the gun apart then lube it on the inside and will slide alot smoother.

Alternatively spray lube from above and just put it back and forth a bit and will loosen a bit

Thanks for the reply. I will have a go and see if that sorts the problem. If you have any other advice about this gun then please pass it on because any help is much appreciated.
