Hey guys, it's awesome to be here and to step back into the sport! Here's a little about me:

  • I'm based in SE London
  • I like bullpups (and generally weird quirky/forgotten weapons), Tiger Stripe and anything that isnt an M4 (sorry not sorry)
  • I currently own an EBB G36C, WE G18c, CAA Roni Carbine Kit, ASG SPAS-12 & (a newly gifted) TM M4A1 MWS GBBR
  • Im looking to make some poor financial decisions upgrade my kit

I used to play up at my uni round about 3 years ago but now I'm back at home and I wanted to know some good site recommendations. I played in Bunker 51 before it got condemned, and I frequent AGL Aldgate, although I don't believe they're a skirmish site and thus I dunno if i can get a UKARA from there. (I had one before from my uni but it has since expired).

I do have a car, however I am worried a slight bit about rough terrain and incredibly uneven roads in case i fuck up my underside
(i'm a car guy as well so expensive hobby #2)

I'm hoping to come across some other Londoners to go skirmishing with, seeing as I hibernate for all of winter and August is coming to a close
But to wrap up, I'm happy to be here, and I can't wait to interact with you guys!

Welcome back to the incredibly addictive and expensive, totally budget-friendly hobby!

Oh, a SPAS12- does it have the folding stock? SPAS12 is on my "going to instantly buy one if i see it with a stock" list lol

Welcome, I wouldnt worry too much about ground clearance etc, most established sites tend to have decent access & hard standing for customer parking, but if in doubt, contact them before booking.
I'm sure you'll have no problems getting back in to it, there's a few players here from the London area, some of whom are reliant on public transport, so im sure you'll be very popular.
& don't worry about hibernation for the winter either, the way global warmings going we'll all probably be playing in our summer kit 🥵🌞

Unfortunately not, it was a cheap springer one i bought in a used airsoft bundle on discord lol
It has the heavist pull second to lifting Mjolnir and without a stock i have to push the whole body of the gun as opposed to pulling the pump grip.

HOWEVER I have some proficiency with CAD so I am gonna see if I can 3D-print a folding stock (if that's allowed and a completely legal thing to do)
It'd be a waste of a shotgun otherwise

I feel like at this rate I'd be joining them on public transport, I'd be surprised if i can afford both of these hobbies at once LMAOOOO

I say as I currently have the SRU SARB-15 Bullpup Kit in my shopping basket

Hi and welcome!

I am also SE London based, but rarely play in the area as I prefer three sites in Essex (Airsoft Plantation, Skirmish Billericay, Terminal Six)

You cannot get your UKARA through AGL Aldgate as they are not an airsoft site.

Locally, I would very much avoid Tactical Warfare Airsoft near Croydon and D&A Dropzone near Swanley; they are probably the worst run sites I have ever been to, both being accidents waiting to happen.

There are a number of options within easy driving distance in Kent: Apocalypse and Ultimate Wargames come to mind, while Gunman Battle Lakes near Tunbridge Wells offers great FilmSim events on a large site. Some people like Mayhem, which isn't far from Epping.

I seem to have something of a reputation here for weird and quirky weapons and I do like a good bullpup.

Sounds like we’ll get along just fine lol

Funny you say TW, because me and my coworkers are going there in late September 😭 what makes those places “accidents waiting to happen” so you say?

With TW, it was the amount of dry firing in the safe zone, combined with a cavalier approach to ensuring that mags were out and chambers cleared before entering the safe zone. The last time that we were there, we repeatedly had to remove magazines from rental players guns in the safe zone. Also, game rules always seem vague and open to interpretation.

For D&A Dropzone:
Selling and consuming alcohol on site without a licence and a player openly drinking from a hip flask.
Taking off eyepro in the field between games; the second or third time this happened, I let off a couple of pistol shots away from the group and nobody batted an eyelid.
Head marshal wearing standard spectacles on the field, not eye protection.
