Half that would be doing well.
 
I started looking up prices for that lot and even before I finished it's obviously not worth £800 new
 
Genuine question as its a point I see made repeatedly when mocking prices....

How often do people import rifs without having them stopped and charges added?

Every time I've ordered a rif since brexit its been stopped and bumped up, including one where border force destroyed two rifs because they couldn't understand that ukara wasn't the only defence under the vcra...

Like I know uk shops bump a bit on to make a profit but still

Still a bit high imo. The whole lot new is probably around £600 as the extras all look like they're from the cheaper end of the market. I'd say closer to £400 is more realistic

The simple answer is you don't. In the past there were some shops who would declare a lower price on the invoice but HMRC are wise to this and if it looks dodgy they will go after the buyer

I agree. However, the seller has not thrown a hissy fit and has reduced the price considerably to a far more realistic level. The package may be worth £500 to someone; if it isn't, the seller and a potential buyer can haggle.
