This. While the grenades being discussed here have been tested the same can't be said for others. Players going to A&E to get shards of plastic pulled out of their arse cheeks is going to cause the site problem with their insuranceIf i had to guess, probably some people are skimping on the infil, & then maybe using larger blanks ?
It'd certainly make them function like a proper grenade,, 3d printed fragments propelled in every direction![]()
Absolutely not mate its definitely a topic that needs to be brought up especially with almost any Tom, Dick and Harry buying 3D Printers and printing articulated rainbow dragons and selling them on Etsy, the last thing we need is people with no real knowledge in 3D printing just making impact grenades.Firstly I apologise if I’ve digressed from the thread, this was not my intention but I did ask the question out of interest, first is they may not be CE approved hence not covered by the liability insurance & secondly, the concern is (and is what I assumed) the plastic may become brittle over time and bits could fly everywhere.
No doubt this is a CQB issue at this location so hopefully other sites will allow them.
If nothing else they will be cool decorations
If Mods believe I’ve added nothing to the intended thread or digressed too far I have no issues if they wish to delete my comments.
I have ordered 4 of these and have no issues with my purchase, this is just one site so, many more may allow them.
