so? guns attract kids. When I was a kid I used to openly carry a fixed blade knife at all times, but is not Sweden in the 90s... sadly. Kids can not run around with something that looks like a gun.

It is much easier for someone dodgy to get a real gun than a airsoft rif. They would just contact a like minded person, rather than play soldiers in the woods 3 times in 2 months. Real guns are not difficult to obtain illegally, especially in Brixton before it went "posh".
I do know what ukara is I JUST THINK IT'S POINTLESS WHEN YOU CAN BUY A RIF AIR PISTOL WITHOUT ANY EQUIVALENT.

I personally think a rif air pistol would be the most likely gun used in a robbery, a real gun would be in 2nd place.

It's also arrogant to think that dressing up and playing soldiers in the woods gives you more right to own a rif than someone who wants to "plink" in their garden, or just like guns. It shouldn't.

I think the real value and purpose of UKARA is to show that the airsoft community as a whole is being responsible and self regulating in regards to RIF/IF.

And if I'm not mistaken the point about the crossbow is that it can be lethal as well as those other items, the fact is you wouldn't get very far walking around the high street carrying said crossbow without being stopped by the police.

All the airsoft community wants to do is provide evidence of the majority of us being responsible as a group. We cannot do anything about individual oxygen thieves!

Politicians have decided that the sale of guns and RIFs needs to be controlled.

The gun lobby is very strong and quite rightly you need a licence to own a gun and have to keep it in a locked cabinet at home. I have never tried to get a firearms licence but would hope that I would have to show some evidence of belonging to a shooting club for target shooting guns - bit harder to prove that you need a shotgun maybe!

The air gun lobby is also very strong and they justify the ownership of airguns as needed for pest control. Rules are easier than for real guns as they are less dangerous although can still do some serious damage. So, the restrictions are that you have to be over 18 to buy/own an airgun and have to buy it in a face-to-face transaction with proof of identity etc.

Airsoft guns are purely for fun/sport and whilst bbs fired at someones face/eyes would do some damage they are nowhere near as dangerous as airguns or real guns.

The face that they are purely for fun means it is harder to justify the need for airsoft RIFs apart from airsofters wanting to look as realistic in our simulated war games as possible. The defence and UKARA rules help to show that airsofting is a genuine sporting activity and that club members are committed enough to be allowed to own RIFs.

The fact that you can buy an airsoft pistol like the Desert Eagle from an airgun dealer without a defence - just have to comply with the airgun regulations - does make the law look flawed at best.

However, the defence is easy enough for anyone over 18 to get and if that means we can keep RIFs available to skirmishers then why knock it?

This is one of my fav guns! although i use 0.12G ammo for it its still powerfull and fun just to play with. ive not used this in a game as of yet but ive felt its power ripping though redbull cans and feeling the pellets fly past me! i also love the site that has a good zoom. Grate gun, amazing for the price! would deff recomend!

Taken off of the comments section for the "M57P SNIPER SET" (Double Eagle L96). He bought a £180 rifle to shoot in his back garden with .12g BBs? Slight gust of wind and those "powerfull" BBs will be flying all over the place.

Oh wow, reading the comments on those websites is hilarious and really depressing at the same time.

Though I do think people are a little too strict on guns and IFs in this country a UKARA defence is easy enough to obtain if you're 18+

That said, I'm 15, but my dad has the UKARA and he has ownership over the guns and everything (He lends them to me although I sometimes say they're mine, what I mean to say is they're the guns I use)

So yeah as long as you are responsible and know the rules everything's ok, the problem is that all these kids get their hands of them, two-toned or not, and they decide to shoot people (in their face or nuts), break stuff and kill things / don't wear eye protection etc.

im a proffesional bb gun gamer and i would say its a brilliant first time gun (HA2110 SA80)

I have had this gun when you where allowed black guns it broke but the new design looks flawless. This is mostly meatle but this gun is made by hfc a good company so for the price i think it is good for a first meatle pistol.
