Well what can I say, other than I'm bored?
Haven't played since I headbutted a rock, but still need to shoot things. As do my boys.
We'd been shooting in the garden, using tin cans, at ground level.
I had an epiphany - I was teaching my boys to shoot people's feet!
Useless.
So I immediately went out and bought a load of garden canes.
I then stuck them in the ground all over the (enclosed) garden. I topped them off with a cat food tin and voila - one course of fire created for pennies! Sod these electric target systems - it was an absolute blast and cheap as chips.
You can do all sorts of drills, lay them out in any order you want. The only limit is your imagination.
Why dafuq I never thought of it before is beyond me.
As the boys improve, I'll start designating different targets as pistol and rifle, so they can transition between the two.
By the time they can actually play, they're going to be awesome ?
Anyway... if you haven't, I can highly recommend it and if you have, I'm open to any further ideas to make it even better.
