Occasionally, I just remember seeing you and thinking that's a tough gig. Fair play for getting stuck in! Didn't get to chat with you as I was on the opposite team. Maybe next time.
The hate towards Speedsoft and its playersbugs me soooo much that speedsofters get so much hate from the community when the reality is these “speedsofters” you all hate aren’t even Speedsoft players they just cqb players in Speedsoft gear and haven’t even played Speedsoft in there life . Us real Speedsofters are the most friendly and fair playing chilled dudes your ever play with. But we get hated on purely because of cqb players who use Speedsoft gear
forever tarnished by this. When ever I go to play cqb I can instantly feel the hate towards me and peoples attitude on the field towards me .
Are you just going through old posts to boost your comments? You've replied to a whole bunch of old posts now![]()
They’re still speedsofters. If it walks like a duck, looks like a duck and quacks like a duck… it’s a duck. The hate towards Speedsoft and its playersbugs me soooo much that speedsofters get so much hate from the community when the reality is these “speedsofters” you all hate aren’t even Speedsoft players they just cqb players in Speedsoft gear and haven’t even played Speedsoft in there life . Site near me referred to the group I was with (14 of us) as "lycra wearing knob-heads". This was at the beginning of the safety brief by the head marshal and not a single trigger pulled, we were almost 25% of his player base that day and were locked at 1J not 1.14J like everyone else because we were "hpa" as well as having our own personal marshal follow us around screaming we were shooting too fast. The bias is so real. I'm not a speedsoft player but I went with a bunch of guys who are so I felt your pain.noooohow can they be a speedsofter if they never even played Speedsoft ? They literally just cqb players in dye masks lol which is funny actually cuz speedsofters don’t actually wear dye masks
and we definitely don’t run around like these headless chicken dye masks wearing cqb guys
that said I’ve seen one or two of them guys try Speedsoft for the first time and they usually go home early because they think Speedsoft is running around like they do in cqb lol reality is we literally don’t move
I think one full game of cqb is more moving than we do in a 8 hour session of Speedsoft lol
What qualifies a real Speedsofter is someone that actually plays Speedsoft …. I mean if I wear a f1 racing suit and helmet and drive my Ford fiesta to the shop does this make me a f1 driver ?It's interesting that you reject other people's lived experience because you're so bugged.
What qualifies "real speedsofters" other than a gatekeeping mentality that ignores the disagreeable speedsofters and protects your ego?
How can you verify that those speedsofters have never played in a speedsoft arena, only in CQB airsoft?
Necroposting to complain about people taking umbrage with bad behaviour on the part of some speedsofters isn't the flex you think it is.

Bro I totally respect your comment ! I’m so glad that a non Speedsoft player can see it for how it is . It’s so bad it actually keeps us from wanting to come play cqb . It’s hard to have fun and a good day with the tarnish. Sorry you had to experience it from the other side broSite near me referred to the group I was with (14 of us) as "lycra wearing knob-heads". It was eye opening. I'm not specifically a CQB player, I just play airsoft but when I go indoors I tend to use a Dye mask with a hi capa on HPA, some cargo's and a check ubacs but on this occasion I borrowed one of their player shirts so I could fit in with the other 13 guys and I was horrified.Bro I totally respect your comment ! The problem is these days, it does (from some perspectives).I mean if I wear a f1 racing suit and helmet and drive my Ford fiesta to the shop does this make me a f1 driver ?
Most places I’ve played I’ve had the same experience as you describe although I have to say blackstone cqb in Huntingdon was extremely welcoming to us probably the only time I’ve played cqb and nobody had any issues infact they was very curious and had alot of questions really friendly player base thereIt was eye opening. I name and shame the site here.
Change and evolution are always resisted. Indoor, CQB and Speedsoft have evolved a long way over the last couple of years and it's for the better, larger range of kit, compeitive leagues coming up and teams starting to appear, it all fuels the fire that increases the popularity of "airsoft" as a whole.
Even more so after that dude got arrtested for shooting a gun in american after posting it on social media!!I find people who criticize others for blanking their faces in pictures cringe.
Having spent a long time in in house recruitment for some pretty massive and well known companies, you'd be amazed at the things I've seen used for not hiring someone, so a picture of them holding a "gun" isn't something id want to be tracked back to me. I like the pics etc, I just don't want them tracking back to me. Likewise sometimes it's a great picture and I'm just pulling a derp face that ruins it. I mean, how ridiculous would it be to have my career derailed and earnings reduced just so that my face can be in pictures from when I'm playing toy soldiers.
Also, people who are so "not competitive" that they actively do things to be not competitive, like bright gun/gear or talking down people who do put effort in, especially when they aren't effective players themselves. I'm there to have fun and my version of fun isn't being a moving target,
