I have only had the charger for a week and now its doing this any ideas? Its a VTE600 COMBO BALANCE CHARGER?

Hmm, not seen that one, although i had one for about 4 months for my life battery before it died (and took the battery with it :angry: )
Was a different problem as with mine one of the cell channels stopped charging.
Tbh, if you've got the money its worth putting investment into a proper charger, something like an imax b6 is an inexpensive option that'll get the job done. Extra side benefit you can charge your car with it.
