I printed the slide horizontally to give the most strength with the supports done as organic which leaves the least mess. I'm not skilled enough yet for CNCing something this complex but maybe in the future, who knows.
it's heavy, but if a nuclear bomb goes off, I'm climbing inside it as it's rock solid. It comes with a bunch of organisers as well and they are pretty handy. It's also worth mentioning that everything seems very well made.
fusion is better for organic shapes whereas Sketchup is more architecture focused but can do complex curves with a bit of f;ing around. I started out years ago using sketchup hence the preference to use it sometimes but fusion is good, just takes blooming ages to master and I'm no master at...
Normally I'd agree but in the FNX it's a weird one. They knew that the slide would be stressed enough on 134 that they added a metal plate to counter the effect and I'd imagine that even on 134 some will break over prolonged use, which is unusual for TM.
I've went old skool and I'm using...
It's a design flaw if you don't use buster/134 gas as it was designed for. If you use other green gases and higher temperatures the front end can snap off. TM knew it might be an issue and there is a metal plate inside the top side, near the front sight, to counter it but not for higher PSI...
always fancied a NGRS 416D but with a 416C front end so I bought some bits off here and made one. Stock is the EPM 2 which is about an inch shorter than the EPM 1 stock.
Not knocking the review mate however like a lot of reviews it's from a sample base of one. You see it a lot with youtube airsoft reviewers and they love or hate a product based on 1 sample. Not really a fair assessment and places like this forum are a better place to gauge a product as there is...
first airsoft gun was around the late 80's and was a model kit of some sort of S&W pistol that fired 6mm BB's once built. Basically a put it together springer. I also had a bunch of LS model guns around the same time Colt commando, AK74, etc that worked like the real thing once built and even...
