    Is JustBBGuns ruining Airsoft?

It is much easier for someone dodgy to get a real gun than a airsoft rif. They would just contact a like minded person, rather than play soldiers in the woods 3 times in 2 months. Real guns are not difficult to obtain illegally, especially in Brixton before it went "posh". I do know what ukara...

    Is JustBBGuns ruining Airsoft?

Then they should be illegal aswell. I'm not against air rifles. I just think it's stupid that anyone 18+ can buy an rif air rifle, but you have to play 3 times in 2 months and get a ukara number to buy a toy.

    Is JustBBGuns ruining Airsoft?

@ two_zero, Let me outline my points in a simple manner so u can understand. I think it should be legal for anyone over 18 to buy a airsoft rif. It is legal to buy a air rifle rif which looks just as real, but is more dangerous. This is stupid. 2tone is pointless, They would make sense if...

    Is JustBBGuns ruining Airsoft?

Knowing this country I would imagine health and safety was their main concern. I could understand 2 tone if rifs were illegal (not that I want that), but they aren't. If a rif is such a major concern, how can grown men playing soldiers in the woods, be a defence to owning one? It's all bollocks.

    Is JustBBGuns ruining Airsoft?

[quote two_zero Are you mixing up UKARA and VCRA? VCRA prevents people that want to intimidate people with them to get realistic imitation firearms. If you're getting it to plink in your back garden, you can get a plinker that does not look like a real gun (two tone, provided you're 18+) and if...

    Is JustBBGuns ruining Airsoft?

He is far from ruining airsoft, the only thing he will ruin is his own business. There are con men and idiots in every industry. UKARA is a bigger threat to airsoft. It prevents the hobby from growing and when something is supported in small numbers, it is easier to ban. The hobby needs to...

The danger of mesh glasses (cautionary tail)

I can't believe anyone would protect their eyes with a pair of sub £5 goggles mesh or not.

Setting up new website uk laws unsure

I wouldn't set up a airsoft retail business in this economy. Like previously mentioned it is a niche market that isn't growing as fast as some others, and never will for a number of reasons. You would also need some serious cash for stock, which would be better spent on a more viable business...

    non hardcore milsim

I'd love to mate, but I'm starting a house build next month. Won't be able to make it. No holiday for me this summer either :(

    non hardcore milsim

Unfortunately airsoft has more sad bastards and weirdos than any other hobbie/interest I've ever had. I would never go to a mil sim event. Not because I don't like the concept, because I know 75% of people there would be sad wannabe soldiers. I can understand why so many people in the forces...

    has anyone done this before

Dressing up is one thing, but putting accents/voices on is what I used to do when I played "the A-team" as a kid. If a grown man started speaking to me in a stupid voice, I couldn't take him seriously and I would question his mental health.

A mate got rid of his after a week. Didn't like the semi/auto trigger, and he had a few other issues aswell.

    Kids in airsoft

Of course kids are going to play. It's a game with toy guns. If they get excited and make mistakes, it is because they are kids. There also seems to be alot of 18 year olds referring to 15 year olds as kids? Most people can't tell the difference, and lads never grow up anyway (especially ones...
