Unfortunately health means I'm done with airsoft, so will be selling off my collection over the next few months. Generally I'll follow the 2/3 retail price rule as all of my stuff has been well looked after and works well, but I do have a few pieces that are unusual or rare I'd appreciated folks input on. I'll list it all in case people notice things I should be pricing in any particular way. Here's my whole collection:
  • Tokyo Marui Skorpion AEP
    • 4 mid cap mags + 1 drum mag
    • Upgraded spring for roughly 285 fps
    • original Czech holster and magazine pouches for everything
    • real steel folding stock
    • Original box
IMG_1194.webp
  • Stoner 63 AEG
    • 1 magazine
    • Has both the original and railed fore-ends
    • Drilled neatly for the top optics rail
IMG_1232.webp
  • Northeast Sten MkIIS (the suppressed one) GBB
    • 6 magazines (I found an extra one after taking the photo)
    • This is the first generation model
    • Original box, even for each mag!
IMG_1226.webp
  • E&L AK105 Essential AEG
    • 3 mid cap black magazines, 3 high cap plum magazines
    • Real plum foregrip
    • Has an upgraded tactical selector lever and magazine release, and a neat East German low-light ironsight
    • Original box
IMG_1230.webp
  • S&T SMLE spring powered
    • 1 midcap magazine
    • I've stripped the wood and done it in a proper, less plastic finish
    • Replaced brass butt plate with a real one
    • The cocking indicator no longer functions
    • Original box
IMG_1238.webp
  • King Arms M1A1 paratrooper carbine GBB
    • Converted to green gas (will include original CO2 bolt)
    • 1 original CO2 magazine and 6 30-round green gas magazines
    • Real steel vented top cover
    • Also have a full (non-folding) stock for it
    • Both stocks are real wood, I've stripped, stained and oiled them correctly
    • This is a semi-auto only one, just to be clear
    • Original box
IMG_1235.webp
  • PTS Masada GBBR (in tan colour)
    • 4 magazines (I found another that's not pictured)
    • Have both long and short barrels, and fore ends
    • Have a heavy recoil kit, but not fitted
    • In the pic it has repro KAC backup sights, will include those and any originals
    • Original box
IMG_1228.webp
  • Umarex VFC HK 416C AEG
    • 1 x original metal hi cap mag, 3 x polymer midcap mags
    • Dummy PEQ box for battery
    • Will include repro red dot, foregrip in photo
    • Original box
IMG_1227.webp
  • WE XM177E2 GBB
    • 4 x 20 round mag, 4 x 30 round mags
    • Modded with a triangular handguard and retro retractable stock to look like a Colt 607
    • Retro style real steel triangular charging handle
    • Custom marked by KY airsoft with "Colt Commando" markings
    • Will include the repro Colt style scope in the photo
    • Original box, even for the mags!
IMG_1234.webp
  • GHK AKMSU GBB
    • This is the folding stock short AK with weird thumb hole foregrip
    • 6 x 30 round magazines
    • This is from GHK's dodgy period, but it works - FPS jumps up and down a bit and its not very accurate
    • Added a wood grip to match the fore end
    • Will include an adaptor to add a rail section to the rear sight
    • Original box
IMG_1229.webp
  • Webley replica MKVI Service Revolver CO2 6mm BB
    • 12 rounds for it, one speed loader
    • Battlefield finish
    • This is the model that doesn't have the fake safety catch
    • Comes with RAF holster
    • Original box
    • Pics further down thread (reached limit)
  • WE Mauser M712 GBB pistol
    • 1 x 10 round, 2 x 20 round magazines (green gas)
    • Comes with reproduction wooden stock and correct repro 712 grips
    • I've selectively polished the finish so it more closely matches the original
    • Lightly weathering
    • Pics further down thread (reached limit)
I used to quite actively buy and sell RIFs on this site, but wouldn't mind a few pointers on how it works now. Is Parcelforce still the best choice for posting RIFs? Normally I use Paypal G&S for payment, and require active UKARA for defence.

The pistols sound interesting to me.
Parcelforce is probably your best bet for the larger parcels. The pistols would be fine by tracked 24 or 48.
PayPal G and S is a good idea if you don’t know the buyer, but you can get a good idea from their feedback score. Unfortunately all of us lost our previous scores when the forum was revamped.
A number of legal defences are accepted by most shops now, ask for proof, they all provide a membership card either physical or an online card.

Yes, Parcelforce is the best choice. Specifically Parcelforce 48, not 24. It's worth keeping an eye on this thread for the most recent updates. https://airsoft-forums.uk/threads/i...l-mail-and-parcelforce-worldwide-rules.54471/

With the GHK AKMSU GBB, how inaccurate is it and how much does the fps jump up and down? If it's accurate to 10 or 20m, you can spin it to say it's suited for CQB, assuming that the muzzle energy jumping up and down isn't a risk for failing a chrono test. The more clarity and certainty you can give, the less wiggle room buyers can reasonably have in trying to haggle the price down based on what it would cost to stabilise the muzzle energy and improve accuracy.

The WE XM177E2 ought to resell for a decent amount on retail, especially as it will give people a lower-cost alternative to Cyma's CGS-based XM177 given you have 5 mags in total.

You said you've taken care of all your kit but for the sake of clarity, it's worth pointing out if all your gas mags are gas-tight.

Like ButcherBill said, pictures would really help you out.

Shame the stens the first generation 😔
I don’t think you can get the upgrade kits for 2020/2024 any more either which sadly would hit your price down more. Mags definitely help, although assuming they’re pre-2024 it would again be less desirable.

I would base it on the 2024 prices and then go for the lower end, say 60% of retail. Or find somebody who just wants it as a wall hanger/reenactment piece!

Thanks for the replies so far folks! Maybe I'll try and get a quick snap of each later today just so there's one image at least in this thread. It's going to be a gradual process of posting this stuff as I want to do it properly - get decent pictures, test the RIFs, check all the magazines etc... for each advert. A few people have messaged me already with interest in certain RIFs, I'll try to let these folks know when I'm posting the adverts they're interested in.

On the new defence types that have come about recently, are there ones that are considered good, or I should avoid accepting? I used to call up a shop I used regularly and ask them to check folks UKARA for me, are there routes to verify any of these new defences?

Unfortunately I don't have a chrono to check - it was under the limit for a CQB site, I just remember it wasn't consistent when chrono'd on game day.

A shame to learn the early Stens had issues, I'll see if I can find some info on that. I've barely used mine, mainly bought it as a wall hanger as I just like the Sten, so it at least won't have much wear and tear. I've dropped Northeast a message to see if they are planning a new run of the 2020 upgrade kits.

I've just added pics for most of them to the original post, also updated a few details as generally found I had a few more mags or other bits than I remembered. I ran out of pic limit so here are pics for the Broomahndle 712 and Webley

The webley looks like the "Wingun" version which is pretty rare in of itself and does hold value to the right person - However, that value I have no clue about as they're rarely up for sale 😂

They are available in Asia still and retail around £130 before shipping just to give a rough idea.

Scorpion £170
Stoner 63 £600
Sten £350
AK105 £150
SMLE £220
M1A1 £420
Masada £350
416C £330
XM177A2 £320
AKMSU £400
Webley £100
Mauser £170

That's priced with all accessories and all could go for a tenner more or less. Some might disagree however I'm basing this on I buy a lot of 2nd hand stuff and I also see a lot of sales at the sites I go to.
