Could it be too early in production for an airsoft manufacturer to take an interest in doing a replica?

@Galvatron it's been around for quite a few years and iirc was the first assault rifle you got in MW2019 inc WarZone, not sure which version was exactly featured but it looks as similar to current production real ones as any CoD fictional rifle does that's based on a real gun.

Ordered a set of 6 mws mags from japan and just been informed customs have seized them as dangerous goods. Luckily got a full refund but what the hell?

Ive not actually got a notice from customs or anything yet. If I get one I will appeal it. The tracking just shows it as having been sitting in a fedex facility for a week and when I asked the seller they just said "Siezed as dangerous goods" and sent me a refund.

Give FedEx a call. They'll have someone you can actually speak to. There's no reason for them to be classified as dangerous foodsy and seized.

Sadly this happens occasionally - not because they think that the mags are real and can hold rounds - but more likely cos of the gas nature of them.  This is why all gas mags should be sent with the valves removed.

Tried sixmm.. they wouldn't ever send an order out until being e-mailed multiple times after already waiting 10 days+. Gave up on them, saw some stuff on Shooters Combat Gear that wasn't available elsewhere, order sat unmoving for a week, e-mail, 'it'll dispatch tomorrow', that was a week ago. I'm sticking with WGC in future I reckon.

While WGC are usually really good, i recently made an order that took over a week before it was picked/packed/dispatched despite everything showing as in stock. Not really an issue and nothing urgent, but still kinda slow.

AliExpress i've only had good experience with.

Looks like staffing shortages aren't exclusive to the MoD or NHS.

@AnonymooseWGC (along with a lot of the asia retailers) ship out only on specific days, i think theirs is a Tuesday, hence the delay

Just had an obvious scam through prefired.. I've not personally had issues on here but that may be sheer luck.

Friend's car died, so guess I'm taking a break from airsoft for now. Unless anyone is in the Brighton area and has a space in their car? ?

On the plus side, I have at least started learning to drive myself, so in a few months I should be good(?)

Update: he's responded to the buyer finally, with a plausible excuse, but the situation remains the same until the goods are delivered.
