Tornado grenades any good?

I'm seriously tempted to buy a pair, but the maintenance aspect kinda puts me off, anyone own them?

No but i've had one used on me. The BB spread isnt great, and they're so silent you cant even hear them over AEG fire.

The maintenance is easy though. Just a few drops of silicon and your set.

Ack that's a pity. Reckon the lack of bang increases the odds of the attacked player thinking the BB hit was a ricochet?

Quite possibly, might be worth looking into a bfgx instead

but then i've not seen one so dont know how many rounds come out of it

Yeah, i believe you just have to be over 18 to get them.

Same as the old dynatech ones and so work great.

they take 9mm blanks as far as I'm aware. read the faq section on the site, it'll all be in there

Indeed. Pack of 50 0.380 blanks cost about £15.

Most airsoft stores sell them, and so do the place you buy the grenade from.

Little more expensive than the tornado, but much more durable.

Still need to clean it after each skirmish though. Takes about 5 mins.

9mm blanks are different so watch what you're buying. You need the ones with the lips i.e. 0.380 not 9mm. 9mm are for blank pistols, 0.380 blanks are for revolvers and the BFG

Spot on lads. I like the look of the BFG's, I'll visit the Wolf store next week and make sure they sell blanks and get some ordered.
