THREE MoD SITES - ONE EVENT - TIER 1 MILITARY SIMULATION

[TIER 1]

TIER 1 have been given exclusivity to stage a large scale MILSIM event combining three separate training facilities on the Ministry of Defences Salisbury Plain Training Area (SPTA).

The area(s) have never before been made available outside of the military and this will be a first for the community.

Each of the three facilities, which are around 2km apart and form a triangle covering 5km square, are stand alone training facilities which can cope with up to 200 players each.

Our aim is to stage the most realistic Modern Warfare and current theatre MILSIM event never seen in the UK before and will be the finale to this chapter of our ongoing storyline which has been running since April 2011.

We will announce and release all details for this truly epic TIER 1 Combat Operation here shortly.

How strict are the kit rules?

I would like to come as im just round the corner, however i only own DPM or black camo and black vests etc.

Dont really fancy having to go buy a whole lot of DDPM / Multicam or whatever just to play.

It sounds like you would be better on the side of the Insurgents.

Although we do not expect people to spend a great deal of money on particular load outs, we do prefer that you get as close as possible to our uniform requirements.

The Insurgents get a lot of freedom with their load outs and it is easily made authentic with small additions.

Im a muslim, so obviously its a touchy area.

I've been to games where NATO/Insurgents have been played out well... and then some not so well.

Just wondering would i be offended by anything you have planned ?

Im not easily offended, however I have played games where things were taken OTT created overly biased

We aim to provide a realistic modern day Combat simulation for people to play. We do not get involved with the politics where possible.

The events are tough and challenging and we aim to give you a snapshot of what it is like to be a soldier on whichever side you play on. Of course we do not scratch the surface of real combat.

I was absolutely gutted that I couldn't make it to Wendigo after work pulled me in a couple of days before I was going to put my deposit down.

Sounds really good, and it'd be interesting to attend.

Due to the enormity and complexity of this event, this will now take place early next year.

Nevermind, found it myself here. It looks too hardcore for my medical problems unfortunately.
