The 'What have you just bought' Thread

Sold some RIFs to buy this A&K Masada with the, seemingly, rare RAHG handguard. Almost got a black one too but missed out by a day or two.

Waited for 3 weeks after Italy post was taking forever then being held to ransom for another ~£65 from customs - which I couldn't pay because the online payment isn't working so I had to drive a town over to the local PF depot.

Annoyingly, the rear sight is missing the other half + bolt/screw so I can't attach it to the rifle. Easily fixed with a 3D print but annoying all the same.

Not any fancy new RIFs, but I do like my uncommon camos (uncommon in the UK at least) that also have some sort of connection to me. Got nostalgic seeing the El Corte Ingles labels in these...

One fits right now, one fits but is a bit tight because I'm a fatty and will fit really nicely once I've lost more weight.

Fond memories of buying some camo then going to the restaurant to get a Corty? 😛
I'm either too young or too old (or too dumb) to know what this means 😂

But no. I used to live in Spain. El Corte Ingles is like... a massive shop that sells basically everything and there was a massive one where we lived. Used to go there for a bunch of things, but I mostly remember going there to get air rifle stuff with my father.

I know it well, i've spent a lot of time in Spain, and drive there almost every year.

Corty is their signature sandwich in their restaurant:

Since Covid my local Corte Ingles has shut half of their floors, including the restaurant. ☹️

Ah, we never went to the restaurant or the grocery part because it was expensive. That's what Mercadona was for!

Funky camo. Cos of my native Ireland's silly rules around selling/buying camo can't get this funky Irish navy camo :(

Nice. I've seen paddyflage pop up online now and again but it's always the green version. I'm a fan of the unusual patterns too and found the British army opfor DPM training camo last year. It works surprisingly well in CQB

I heard about it a few years ago but the only stuff I could find was overpriced reproductions then I looked again last year and there was loads available on ebay (from a quick look there still is). Be warned it's expensive though

Bought a 5KU aluminium grip, trigger and mag plates for my BDS9 as I dont like the stock one and the WE capa grip i had was tacky feeling lol

Shout out to George at Ex Machina for printing my BDS9 RMR plate cover in Carbon Fibre for me. I was close to buying a new slide as I disliked the RMR plate but now I can rock the OG slide!

(If anyone has a BDS9 and also wants the RMR plate cover, feel free to DM me. The print file was made for me by a friend and i think its the only one out there as I spent hours looking for one.)

Unusual for me to buy a full replica as I'm building my own custom airsoft rifles.
This time I got the VFC Maxim PDX SBR
It'll be stripped all the way down.
Things to be taken care of : defective charging handle (left latch KO), wobbling fake gas-tube, bucking, innerbarrel, check any loctited grub screws as VFC are putitng an insane amount of blue-loctite. Then apply the heatgun on any identified grub screws.
