The 'What have you just bought' Thread

I am ready to colour them, but this is going to take a while. Colouring them with acrylic inks one at a time by hand.

I threw the bright red and orange ones out, so at least it's 300 not 400 xD

I added some acrylic ink and water into a food back at a ratio of 3:1 in favour of ink and threw in 20 or so leaves at a time. Got a really good coverage.

I ran them through the washing machine and tumble dryer inside a pillow case to soften then up first!

I roughly followed this guide https://www.google.com/amp/s/stipsniper.com/2017/10/29/crafting-leaves/amp/

Mine turned out pretty well!! That's them bagged up after.

That stuff looks good. Let me know how you get on with that trigger. I can't find any aftermarket triggers that are long enough and the stock one is a terrible shape. Also interested in how you're getting the battery and wiring into the stock?

I actually stumbled upon this while looking for stocks after I gave up on the ACR stock: https://www.davescustomairsoft.co.uk/CTRbatterypad

Check it out. they are custom-machining the pads to hold a battery. I've already preordered.

Can't speak for all models, but with my TM SCAR with same style stock adapter the battery just sits in the buffer tube same as on most M4 AEGs.  Wires run right though, works great.

Was sick of never having CR123As for things

Funny that you mention that...

Just got rechargeable ones with OLIGHT USB charger (I've figured I won't really need to charge more than one at a time, especially since I can just plug them into my power bank on the go :) )

What makes you say that? Angry Gun themselves show it with a battery in on their own site.
Really? When I was looking for a stock adapter for my own SCAR I seem to remember it saying it wasn't compatible with the VFC AEG, although that may have just been because of the weird wiring setup on the VFC.

It says Gen 2 on it so maybe it's a newer design than the one you looked at?

Just bought a boneyard taran tactical high cappa. Looks pretty much new apart from a broken hammer. I have stacks of 1911 hammers laying around so it should be an easy fix.

AAP-01 folding stock.

AAP-01 rail (replaces the rear sight)

AAP-01 rail set (long top, bottom)

I now need a 2nd AAP-01 to mount all this shit onto :D

Next you'll be getting the Black Mamba upper receiver!

Not a chance in hell tbf.

Not a fan of those, also they're more expensive than the gun itself :D Also I heard they are not compatible with aftermarket hammers like CowCow ones (which I plan to get as soon as I can find them)

So... did you swallow that 25 euro delivery or it became available in Italy? :D

€10 postage from skirmshop.nl

:P

I paid €77 or something for the lot, including postage.

Buying it from airsoft world (or whatever website you mentioned the other day) would've probably set me back around the €100 mark.

Years ago I picked up a G&G CM16 GBBR and while it's nowhere near the best GBBR out there, it's definitely fun to shoot. Anyway, last Friday I managed to find a shop with the mags in stock and at only £20 each

Ordered a few things that are turning up today:

  • InvaderGear UBACS in Wolf Grey (Actually already arrived. Great quality but fuck me is it tight. Should've gone XXL)
  • Viper Titanium Elite Jacket (Reduced to £19.99 from £54.99!)
  • Grey Fast Mag holders x2
  • Viper Titanium Scrote Pouch to protect the beer belly
  • Velcro Panels for the back of the Carrier
GREY!

That's cool but how are you running the wires from the gearbox to the stock? The adapter you've got doesn't fit wires through it.

It doesn't? isn't the tube hollow? If the part that attaches to the gun has no routing for wiring, I'll just get one of my drills out and make a hole. Won't see it once installed right?

Just bought a 40 Mike to go with my 3x master mikes.

Are they good batts? I have some 700mah rechargable Klarus ones but I need a few more.
