Had the same issue with it (on an Ares M4 btw), motor sits at a stupid angle and chews on bevel gears/pinions.. What the fuck were they thinking..

well, i have ended up spending WAY too much the last few weeks...

i bought the tag rounds and shells that @DanRunham listed in the classifieds a couple of weeks ago ready for RIFT airsofts milsim event...  but that has now been cancelled thanks to the latest from the government  ?

i also went to my airsoft supplier (combatuk / onlyairsoft in stevenage) to stock up on grenades and bbs...   and i ended up buying a new gun....  View attachment 62886

Picked up a cybergun 249 because it was going very cheap and promptly added a ton of crap onto it XD. Its honestly pretty ok for what I paid even if it is a plastic body. Ditched the bipod straight away though because it was total garbage and replaced it with a spare harris. Unfortunately the small cloth 249 box mags are hard to find and very expensive right now so I just went with an m4 sound control drum mag for the moment .

I got bored over the weekend and picked up a Boneyard Cyma M1A1 as a project. I'm toying with the idea of Bought a Chrome body from Airsoft Tiger and I've got some Carbon Fibre Vinyl Wrap kicking around... Chrome and Carbon Tommy gun anyone?

Since I have my first, lightweight ghillie suit done, I'm going to visit that leaf suit I bought that has been in my wardrobe for about a year now, as well as making a proper rifle ghillie for my VSR. If I have anything left over, I'll use the OTHER webtex concealment vest I have (I bought one too many) and make a leafy cloak thing as a lightweight alternative to my already relatively lightweight ghillie.

In addition, I just bought an Airtech Studios hair trigger thingamajig for the G&G ETU which shortens the wank pull from the current 65 light years to roughly 2mm.

Next is a drop stock.

I've got mine couple of days ago from BespokeAirsoft, just unpacked this bad boy and holy shit does it feel like a toy - literally no weight to it. Don't get me wrong though, it's GREAT!

Ta for mentioning this, I’ll go ahead and add that to the ‘impulse purchase’ list. I suspect I’ll be parting with some existing pistols before long.

Picked up some of the Viper VX bits a few weeks back and have been sticking various bits of foliage to it since(once I’ve had the time to do the backpack I’ll likely give the shiny green fake leaves a dusting of brown paint). Using the quad SMG insert for the Mk23 mags works a treat, I’ve got a pair of the holster inserts arriving tomorrow which should serve as decent SRS mag pouches (currently using the single mag sleeves, they’re a little too tight).
