The sad thread.

Galaxy note ftw! I've got one, sooooo good :)

Just took everything I want off my laptop, restored it to factory settings and boxed it up to send back to Amazon. I'm gonna miss that laptop, almost as much as I miss my Sony VAIO in my drawer under the bed :( .

On the other hand, I'll be £750 up in about a week's time when I get a refund, most of which to be spent on airsoft :) .

im sad that i bought loads of airsoft gear and my nae ticket in full on wednesday, then got laid off work on thursday so having to sell airsoft parts to pay for the weekender

just had to teeth removed and replaced at the cost of 450 for each replacement and 50 for each removal and to top it all of have my licence plates stolen again

I almost invented a "Confused as f*ck" thread for what I'm about to say.

Riddle me this...

My bank account's overdraft limit is £1,000 right?

Well currently I'm about £900 into it, meaning that my displayed "Current Balance" says - £900, right? With me so far?

HOWEVER, my "Available" balance, as of Saturday afternoon, says I'm in credit by £350...

So I've magically gained money without my knowledge but not only have I magically gained money, my account numbers are confusing me.

Why doesn't my "Current" balance say something like, -£550 or whatever it ought to be?

Also does my "Available" balance mean that I've got £350 PLUS the £100 of my overdraft I still have left? Meaning I really have £450? Or what?

So, so, so confused...

Gonna head to the bank in my lunch break to get to the bottom of it, 'cos I'd really love to know where this new money has appeared from.

Isn't the available limit the amount of money you can withdraw that day. So you can actually withdraw 350, but that would put you 250 above your overdraft, cue lots of money in interest, letter that will cost you £25 etc.

It's a student account so the overdraft is free to use.

The things that's bugging me is why does it still say -£900 if I've got £350? It ought to say I have -£650, surely?

And where the hell did this new £250 come from? I haven't had a payslip from work and I'm always paid on the 30th...

Turns out my overdraft limit had been increased by £250, which I guess is more of a happy thread thing.

But it's also a sad thread thing, because if I spend it all I'll have even LESS chance of ever getting out of my overdraft...

So I guess it ought to have gone in the neutral thread haha. Oh well, never mind.

Ahh the good old, well we have increased your limit as you are a "good" customer. Got myself in a hole like that when I joined up, ended up taking a pay cut but drinking everything I earn't. Ended up that my wages never actually got me out of my credit limit for 5 months. Took a long hard look and 6 months of careful saving to sort myself out, and touches wood, not been back there again.

i have a £1500 overdraft. Its goddam huge but im glad i havnt got into it.

I'd probably go.. "meh whats another £200" and end up maxing it :P

Sad because I just went to see the new Batman film and found it to be thoroughly disappointing. The first two were much more interesting I thought.

In my opinion the new Spider-man film was much better.

I don't think they ought to have used Bane as the villain, there was very little in the way of "thinking" required, people just spotted each other and had a fist fight, it was sh*t.

I much preferred the battle of wits that were had between Batman and The Joker and the stand off with the two ferries from the last film etc.

Tom Hardy was very good as Bane though, considering his face was covered throughout the entire thing if was easy to read his thoughts and intentions.

Booted up DayZ

Spawned and lost my Lee Enfield with 7 mags, My rucksack filled with med suplies and food, My 1911 and 6 mags, and all my tac gear like maps, compass, torch, watch etc.

NOOOOOOOOOOO

Sad because Molly, my dog is horrifically ill, again.

She's already been living with a spinal condition since she was 2, she's now 7, she's basically paralysed at her back end. She can still walk but wobbles about, she can't jump, climb stairs, run properly or stand on her back legs.

Recently she's been acting strange and had a few incidents of incontinence, after some ultra scans and blood tests it transpires she has permanent kidney damage as well.

So now she's on a strict diet, about 4 different kinds of medication and she's been shaved in 4 different places by the vet for all the tests =[

I don't think she's got long left...

Aw sucks my Yorkshire Terrier (Kept Nibbling My Feet if i Got out of Bed Before my Parent's let me out aswell as Chasing me whenever i was in the house) went like that too.

Is Molly a West Highland Terrier?

i had one before i got Abby The Scottish Highland Terror

She's a Westie yeah.

The spine condition is apparently caused by a very rare dormant gene and is only carried by Westies... She's a pure breed by something like 9 generations, so I guess her chances of having it were slightly higher than normal. She must've just been very unlucky.

It took the vets about 3 months and over £2k of tests to even diagnose what was wrong with her at first, I can't believe she pulled through. I imagine most other people would've given up on her because of the costs, but she's such a character I'd probably sell a kidney, or even a lung if I could keep her going =[

She has a proper Scottish fighting spirit lol, she'd be William Wallace's dog if he were still around.

Looks like she's going to need putting down soon. It's just a matter of time.

Her kidneys have completely packed in, she isn't eating, her body isn't producing any waste, her stomach is laced with ulcers and as of today she seems to have completely lost control of her tongue, it's hanging out about an inch and just flopping everywhere. She even keeps trying to bite it off as if it's foreign to her...

She's been living off steroids for the last 4 years as it is, so I think it's probably for the best. If she gets any worse then it would be kinder to put her to sleep to avoid the pain.

The worst thing is that she's only 7, that's barely middle aged for a small dog. She looks young and healthy minus the obvious medical and neurological problems she's having.

Edit:

Had the vet over just now and had her put to sleep.

RIP Molly, the toughest little dog I'll ever know :(

I feel for you mate, i recently had to have my old collie/GSD X put to sleep.

One of the hardest decisions ive ever had to make.

Thanks Wolf, I'm perfectly at ease with it now. I'm glad I went through with it, watching her suffer any longer would've been far worse for me, and her I think. I couldn't bear watching her in so much discomfort.

I'm still upset, but it's more that I miss her =[ Don't wake up to her scratching at my bedroom door wanting to be taken downstairs, don't have to feed her breakfast and give her all the tablets she was on, don't have to stick her on the settee because she couldn't jump up herself. She made my life routine.

Her toys are still lying around and her basket's still in the corner... I miss the skitter skatter of her claws on all the hard surface floors and how there's no barking all the time, or a little fluffy, excited thing there to greet me every time I get home. =[

Broke a really really important promise today, and whilst it was worth it, I'm still sad because I'm a s**t person.

if you broke a promise to a women mate your lifes not worth living ha ha :P
