right so today I was given a tan coloured PLC belt and would like some pouches for it but I don't know where to find any.

AFAIK PLCE was never made in tan made, DDPM is the best match you're going to get to match your uniform.

what about using plain OD pouches (they go with anything right?)

Yeah you could do that, it's entirely up to you though mate as afterall this is airsoft and you can wear whatever you like. If you do go with OD PLCE pouches and you want them to go with your DDPM a bit better I remember reading about a trick the SAS used in the gulf war I think.
They coated their webbing in glue then rolled about on the beach to get sand to stick to it IIRC.
You could just do a light dusting with Tan kyrlon though.
