I recently got gifted a TM MWS for my birthday just gone and my immediate plan is to butcher it completely and sew it back together as a bullpup

Has anyone got any experience with SRU and their kits (purchasing, shipments, assembly, skirmishing etc.)?

Trust, I will definitely be buying it, but I'm wondering if there's anything I missed out. One of my friends has a short stroke BCG as spare so it will be compatible with the kit.

A more technical question I have is will and Airtac HPA adapter fit inside the kit once its been assembled?

purchasing: Super5ives in the UK has the kits (no short buffer kits yet)
shipments: next day shipment if you order before 15:30
assembly: some decent vids on yt but not too hard
skirmishing : tis bulpup you either like them or you dont

Oh weird that ping didn't go notify me.

I built a SARB bullpup, still tweaking it personally but it's most of the way there. It's VFC based rather than MWS though:

I don't think the Airtac adapter will fit, it usually flares out a bit below the magwell and also the SARB mag release wont engage with it properly.

Personally, I think the MWS misses out by not having the front charging handle option other GBBRs do. This one by Maple Leaf removes the need for the rear charging handle entirely.

Other things like a very vertical grip to clear your wrist from hitting the mag is handy. I would also recommend going for a longer barrel, at least 14.5". People do the ultra short SARB builds then have nowhere to put the offhand and complain it's rear heavy.

Also a nice way to elevate the optics above the rail is a must IMO.

Aw thats a bit of a shame about the adapter. Perhaps if I take out the mag release I can still fit it in? To my knowledge the adapter has its own mag release and so the gun release would be if i need to detach the adapter

I agree about the charging handle, my ideal choice would’ve been a BRN-180, however I got my URG-I as a birthday gift so I’m not complaining at all, its not every day you get a Tokyo Marui for free LMAO

ALSO i must say that your SARB-15 looks breathtaking! With that top rail, its proportions scream “modern FAMAS” which I’m a sucker for
