Specna Arms SA-249 MK2 CORE replacment spring

Bought a SA M249 and went to put in a higher FPS spring, however, the standard AEG spring I bought was longer than the spring that was already in there. I have no idea what kind of spring I need now, I've looked and I can't find any info on this. Anybody know anything about this?
