Happy Sunday to you all

So I’m looking for some help / guidance and inspiration to complete a long held gun on my wish list the L119A2 Christian Craighead build

I’ve spent hours on the web and found a website called the reptile house super helpful but I’d love to see builds from you guys on here and if you have the time parts that you used

I’ve recently bought a Wellpro L119A2 GBB as my base for this project yes the markings on the receiver will make this not fully clone correct but in my opinion they look badass

Just like anything in this hobby of ours you can go silly expensive but I’m hoping to try and go somewhere in the middle in costs if possible for this one

And yes for those of you that know me your damn right I’m painting it lol

I’m going to be watching this with eagle eyes, as the L119a2 is my dream gun. I have saved up enough to buy the archwick, but I just can press the buy button as the price for a Airsoft gun is ridiculous

Here’s mine, 90% done, just need the ASAP sling plate and the sling.

It’s the HAO MWS kit, absolutely rock solid, totally worth the price.
Internals mostly standard MWS with a few choice upgrades, plus a steel dual bore barrel, and HAO steel BCG.

If you want to be 100% clone correct, the torch is an issue, the M620 doesn’t seem to have a clone available, so I’ve gone for the next nearest M600 with as close a mount to the RM45 as I can.

The only (currently available) clone correct suppressor is the Airsoft Artisan one, which is very nice.

Ergonomically I’ve changed the LAM and switches positions around compared to the Craighead one, just feels better for my grip.
And I find the Romeo4 I find a little too low, but that’s just personal taste.

Grips and stock are real steel versions. I’ve also cut down the charging handle extension as per RS operators.

And no, I won’t be painting it

I have a GHK Archwick, as new, that I'm planning to put up in classifieds very soon, if you're interested? I can dig all the boxes out tomorrow

Same here absolute dream gun and totally agree archwick is tempting but I just can’t bring myself to pay that much

Mate this is exactly what I was hoping for so many questions but your build is amazing !

Where did you get the stock riser from ?

The well gun I have bought I intend to be the base for my build the rails seem solid however I am looking at the HAO one

Yes mate this looks banging would you recommend the angrygun rail over the HAO one ?

I’ve got my ergo grip on order as well as the silencer from S&I it has trades etc without breaking the bank

Loosely inspired. Few changes as it went along.

Took liberties with the Vortex Razor and ACS stock initially (I hate the CTR stock), then replaced the Razor with the clone correct R4T but replaced the sling as well.

Obi Wan wasn’t the sole inspiration, but it was what convinced me to do an L119A2 many years ago.

Stock riser is a LaRue RISR, my one is a clone (£15 from AliExpress if remember correctly!), but is rock solid and springs back perfectly as it should.
I may be wrong, but fairly sure they only work on CTR stocks.

I just can’t bring myself to paint it, I’m not a fan of painted guns anyway so can’t justify painting such an expensive one!

Also heavily relied on thereptilehouseblog for the parts list. I used a Vortex Crossfire instead of Sig Romeo.

• Archwick Colt Canada Licensed L119A2 on the GHK platform
• HAO Surefire FA556SA UKSF Suppressor Replica (milsim version - rare)
• Element M600U Scout Tactical Flashlight (clone)- Dark Earth. Can't find a rm45l mount that fits this torch yet.
• Element EX 276 LA-5/PEQ-15 Tan with recreation LA-5 UKSF type PEQ stickers
• Double Gel Button for Flashlights and PEQ
• LaRue Risr - (AliExpress but really good quality)
• Sling - I made myself based on Way of the Gun Proctor Sling, which is no longer available.

I even have the paint cans and laundry bag! - but just can’t bring myself to spray it! I may be listing it soon if anyone is interested. Perhaps with the red dot separately so you can put a Sig 4T on to be even more clone correct.

As far as I know HAO only make complete uppers ? The Angry gun rail is great , I've also built a 'long' AEG A2 with one . I Have used some HAO parts , charging handle lever and buffer nut , and found them to be very good.
