short inner long outer barrel question

So i ordered an "in stock" M14 GBB 540mm 6.01mm RA-Tech barrel which turned out to be out of stock... after a few days i was told it was back in stock and on its way.

So it turns up and its the 510mm EBR one.

The question i have is this : would the inner barrel finishing 30mm before the outer barrel effect anything? May seem silly but you never know. The BB could not like it and self implode and cause an earthquake. So safer to ask.

I used a 455mm barrel in my L85 with great results. The gun fits up to a 510mm, but actually came supplied with a 480mm barrel.

So in short, it'll be fine. No natural disasters will occur.
