Secondary

I'm just starting out in airsoft and was wandering if its worth getting a secondary weapon I'm only playing at a CQB site but I do want to move onto a skirmish site soon.

Not really. If your main gun is cqb compatible, then you probably won't use the secondary.

A secondary would probably set you back £100-£130 ish with a holster etc.

I would rather use the money to buy a back up or alternative primary which will be of more practical use.

However sidearms are cool.

Practicality over appearance ?

Depends on the size of your main rifle, a pistol is much easier to peak corners with than any rifle but is only really NEEDED if you have a longer barrelled rifle. However pistols (assuming you're talking about a GBB) can be incredibly expensive for what they are, have a lower magazine capacity than a second (back up) AEG and the magazines and gas can make them expensive to run (plus their performance fluctuates based upon climate).

Cheers guys thought they were expensive for what they are. Have thought about getting a fairly cheap shotgun instead
