Last questions, is it removable mag, and where does the CO2 cartridge go?

It’s very nice, needs the wood work distressing a little, and the bolt pull is disappointing, but otherwise I like it.

Yes the wood work is as it would be when issued from the production line...new. I'm not intending to use it as a prop for re-enacting so won't be distressing it. The bolt pull is quick and easy and makes a solid sound however obviously if using a 303 round you'd pull it back further. For collectors and target shooting though I think they've got it spot on!

Nice rifle, but that bolt pull is a bit disappointing. Need to rack it all the way back for the full and authentic feel of it ? . My PPS Kar98 is great for this.

Basically the news is that there is no news. Before COVID it had been delayed as they couldn't get the stripper clip mag to work properly

so does that mean they are making it shell ejecting?

much as i would love to have a lee enfield, i dont want to be worrying about losing shells on the field...  

got a few ideas for WW1 and WW2 loadouts

No it's actually a smaller gas mag in the shape of stripper clip so you can load it in the top

That's the main issue delaying the release of this rifle from what I've heard. It only holds 7 rounds, 3 less than the real gun. If they get round this I'd love one for an alternate history, British resistance loadout

Hope not. From what i remember their other gas guns were more in the 3-400 range. Also i am hoping they make the proper scope to go with the No4 as well.

They need to get the rims alternating, pretty sure that’s where the problem is. 

I mean that 'clip' is just a solid chunk that's basically a normal GBB pistol mag in a funny shape, has a gas chamber and channel/spring to feed BBs.  If you're talking about the rim lock issue in the real thing that's not relevant since this isn't a shell ejector.
