also you mentioned earlier about having front wired, I presume your going to have a peq box in the ris?

No need , just a small lipo would work

And just remember when using lipos don't let them drop less than 3v per cell as it will damage the battery and when choosing a lipo battery the high the amp rate the better.

I don't have RIS, I use standard handguard, prefer the older look

The only reason I'm asking is the gearbox is going to modified so it's front wired, but if you wanted to save some cash & time instead of them charging todo so, you could just leave it rear wired and get a mini lipo in the stock tube, just a thought..

Possibly, but my stock tube's quite small, it's an LE Stock on a Crane Stock Tube, and is an odd design for just wires to run through it. Might fit though, will get dimensions of batteries and check sometime.

yeah no worries, im pretty sure it should be ok with your stock tube, as that's how I have my m4 set up, just use the 1300mah lipos any bigger and they poke out the end.
