hey all

recently built up an AAP01 with the following:

AAP01C
TTI Hammer
CTM Pins
CTM Advanced Bolt V2
TTI Scorpion and TDC
CTM Hammer Springs
280% Nozzle Spring
Stock Recoil (best performance for light bolt)
131mm Crazy Jet
Flamingo 60

i want to run it on HPA but purely as a sidearm, not a primary.

i was looking at either the ZZZ Infinite Kit or the Airtac Shotshell adapter.

any recommendations for others?

The airtac adapters work well, and if you are dead set on running it HPA, i would recommend their shotshell adapter. But really, if it is only to be run as a secondary, I'm really not sure what the benefits of HPA'ing it would be. The AAP runs better than most as a year round secondary on green (or red) gas - and i'm not sure whether the disbenefit of lugging around bottles and lines would be worth it in the circumstance.

cheers for the advice. only thinking HPA as it isnt the most gas efficient in the world. i use Marui G17 V2 mags if that helps?

Huh? It's about as gas efficient as is even possible with something derived off a GBB glock - the reciprocating mass is about 1/3 of a normal glock.

its moreso in auto. semi is spot on. i just lose some of that goodness when running full auto, is that just the way it is with GBB pistols? my VFC ARs have all been pretty happy on auto, though its never used in anything but semi lol.

Gas efficiency will naturally drop in full-auto. And the cooldown effect is very rapid in full-auto too, short bursts are generally fine, magdumps will go through gas much faster.
