Ok so after much discussion (with myself) research and googling ... I have decided a team uniform is needed to identify us in the field and feel more like a team ..

The uniform (camo) of choice is ....... *drum roll*......

USMC MARPAT WOODLAND

Several reasons for this ..

Its actually quite cheap.

its very underused in airsoft.

its very effective woodland camo.

Its better then fudging multicam!

You can pick up cheap MARPAT camo from several places:

Flecktarn.co.uk

military1st

Ebay

Amazon

Solider of Fortune.

I am not going to be overly strict on the kit, but I would like the Piefinders to look like a team and stand out from other groups you find on game days, show off a little and hopefully attract people to us with our look, organization and camaraderie.

Marpat Boonie

Marpat Baseball Cap

Marpat Ubacs

Marpat Shirt (ACU) for velcro pockets and patches

Marpat Trousers

Green/Tan Vest Or Carrier or Chestrig

Marpat Plate Carrier

Black/Tan boots

The kit listed above gives people choices and can cater for individual budgets ... Shirt and Trousers are about £20/£40 tops, so very affordable stuff.

PieFinder Patches

These are available from Zero One and Flecktarn for £4 and are velcro backed, for all PieFinder players to wear in the field with pride. T-shirts have also been made available thanks to the guys at StitchMeUp for those interested.

A lot of work and effort is going into The PieFinders and its hoped that wish to represent the Pie, will do so with pride and cheer.

Would a tan ops-core helmet be a problem? Hats have never been my cup of tea.

No bud that's fine.

I'm not fussed over headgear .. people wear what they wish.. just giving people ideas for possible kit loadouts.

Excellent choice of camo, where do you regularly play?

All over mate, Midlands, East Anglia .. I'm currently in the South West, Bath/Bristol area, but we play at First and Only and Skirmish East Anglia a lot.

Also wanna hit up Frontier Airsoft in Staffordshire as I know the owner (Fellow ex F&O Marshal).
