On that subject, sure I've seen a NE sten in the classifieds a couple of times, might be worth doing a search & contacting the seller diectly M8.

Sounds very similar to conversations I just had with  another new member Bumblebee.  Polite guy, but contacted me about my wanted post, offered a Sten Mk 5, sent pictures and then a video but it was a Mk 2, bit like what happened with rsvpiper above. 
Lives in Manchester apparently, but told another member he lives in Edinburgh. ?
