The FRB's or Fast Radio Bursts from a dark and unobtrusive region of space were the first signs that something big was about to happen....but we were blinkered thinking it couldn't possibly be and did nothing about it... Four months later they came but not in peace.
Abducting innocent men, women and children they left the civilian populace paralyzed with fear, the military had nothing in comparison with their weaponry and communications were targeted first.
Some of the bravest cracked fearing the worst and surrendered but alas far from reaching an alliance were experimented on only to return as inhumane zombie like mindless killing machines searching for the next target to destroy.
After a while it became clear from reconnaissance what they were here for... Human Tissue. After consuming it had an almost drug-induced mania effect on them making them partially resistant to normal ammunition and pain.
However it was noted that when their flesh came into contact with polymers it had a detrimental effect that they hadn't counted on.....
Perhaps human ingenuity will prevail after all......Only you can decide!!
