Howdy everybody,

I am from and currently live in Southern Ireland.

I have been lurking around the site all weekend and found it to be a great source of information.

I am very new to this  hobby and I don’t own a gun as yet but have narrowed down a few based on my research of this forum.
 

My son is at an age now that he has show an interest and I would love to find something we can do together hence my interest - my wife thinks I am having a mad fit?

I say it will be a while unfortunately - it’s all new to me but the more I read about it the more I like it.
 

I know my son(13)will like it as he did a Airsoft battle day last year for a friends birthday. 

I have bought a pistol and will have it today so we will do some plinking over the weekend.?

What pistol didn’t you buy.... add a pic, when you get it? ???

That’s the first thing I bought with my UKARA license.... before finally deciding on my first AEG! ??

Hi @GAMBLE - Cheers for that - I live in Southern Ireland and there does not seem to be any regulatory requirements to acquire a pistol etc... I am surprised at this since we are normally a nanny state here with such things. 
 

Having read on this site about UKARA it does seem to serve a purpose.

I could buy anything here from the get go - I didn’t need anything but the funds.

Problem was I didn’t know what to buy but thanks to some members here I feel I bought the right pistol.

I bought a Tokyo Marui FNX-45 with an extra magazine and silencer.

Also bought a case and obvious bits that you don’t have starting out.

I spent more than I thought I would TBH and could have spent more.

I would like the light and the micro pro sight but that was too much for me this time.

I will have it this afternoon and will post pics today.
