Hello all. My name is Roger and I live in the US. I have recently begun collecting info and bits to build four L119's - both A1/A2 carbine and shorties. Before I got into UK uniform and kit I did US Vietnam reenacting and airsoft for many years. Attached are a few photos of our squad that were used in one of the Airsoft magazines quite a few years back. The helo was a very special thing and not the everyday kind of event.
it was fun though. The bird is run by a local not-for-profit organisation near the San Francisco area. If you have questions about US Marine Corps Vietnam kit/collecting, I'm happy to answer. However, I'll be looking at your UK gear for tips and tricks to get all my new kit right. Cheers!
