Magazine can't lift 0.3g BBs Effectively - Help!

Hi guys, i'm new here, and hoping someone may have resolved a similar issue to what i'm having. 

I currently run a MK12 MOD0 DMR - consistently firing around 415 fps +/- 1
Prowin hop

6.02 Polished Barrel. 

All parts maintained and cleaned regularly. 

I'm having some real difficulty getting a short (if possible) mag (m4 style) to feed/lift 0.3g bbs. I'm having to use 0.25 currently to get a consistent feed every shot. I'm initially placing blame on the mags, but could it be the type of 0.3's i'm using? They're ASG Blasters, but i've never had an issue with them in my other weapons. 

I've got my eye on the Amoeba 120rd Short Mags - has anyone tried lifting 0.3 or heavier with these? I've also tried to open up one of my current short m16 vietnam style mags, with no luck on the reassembly (those things are ridiculous!). 

Any advice, help or tips would be awesome. At a bit of a loss here.

Do your other guns have the same tight bore barrel? 

From my limited experience, the tighter the barrel bore, the more picky they seem to be with bb's. 

Do they feed fine in a full sized mag on that gun? 

If yes, then yea, probably the mag at fault. If not, then probably the bb's. Have a look here for some testing of them

Thanks Arwen - it's not the barrel at fault I believe as they're simply not making it out of the mag. Typically, 4 trigger pulls will fire two shots. The blank shot will 'shock' the magazine spring i would say into finally releasing the next, and so on, and so forth. 

I've ran 6.01's before in my other guns and haven't had an issue with this brand, which is why my attention turns to the mags. I'll try feeding some 0.3s in full size mags, i think from memory they feed OK, but would much prefer a short style M4 mag that could lift them. I think everything points towards the mag at this point.

do you have a sector gear delayer chip? if not, might help, you can get ones that'll give you a bit longer of a draw/delay on the nozzle.

if you're running midcaps then try down-loading them by 10-20 bb's, i have exactly the same issue with my m4 where a stuffed mag will misfeed like mad if it's not been down-loaded.

also clean the mag, i've got tremendous flak on here for suggesting a dash of silicon oil on here before but #itworksforme but make sure it's not binding at least.

Try some superfeed springs in your mag. Should up the resistance a bit and push the BBs up with a bit more force.

You will probably have to cut them down to fit your short mags.

You guys are awesome. Firstly, i'd never heard of superfeed springs - i'll have to give them a go. Hamster - I don't have a delayer chip installed, it's a full lonex box and thought it was safer to keep everything as it is really. That's really interesting, as the mags you've just listed seem exactly the same as the mags i'm having issues with. I might have to try a combination of both suggestions - continue using the VN mags, but maybe try a retrofit superfeed spring.

I have those springs fitted in a couple of my old Dytac Invader mags. Absolutely transformed them!

if it's a lonex box it possibly has one installed already

Not really. Take the mag apart if you need to (if you have the little round plug that holds the spring in then it's a piece of piss). Cut them to around the same length (maybe a bit longer) and feed it in with the follower.

The superfeed springs arrived today and i've been playing around with them - i tried one cut down, still no luck, and i eventually tried one with the whole superfeed spring into the one mag. 

Turns out... that the ASG Blaster 0.3s I was trying with didn't feed, but the proball 0.3s would feed 90% of the time, which now makes me think it's safer to superfeed spring ALL of my mags, and to play around with BBs that feed consistently. 

Any of you guys that run heavier BBs - do you have any recommendations for higher quality than standard ASG Blasters?
