Macks airsoft dreamers of the week thread

says immaculate, but covered in paint.
lol I had to drop my painted MP7 down to £165 to get a sale. He is going to be waiting for years to sell it at that price.

Here's one up for debate, a helikon tex tmr, great rigs in my opinion, but does the fact that its in a discontinued camo pattern make it worth 3 or 4 times that of a tmr in currently available camos ?
Not to me 🤔

Whether it's worth it entirely depends on how much that specific pattern is sought after.

If one person has paid £250 for it before, that might be a one-off like a celebrity paying a million dollars for a Pokemon card but if there's a trend where 3 or 4 of them have sold for that much then I wouldn't argue against it. If £250 is the asking price simply because it's discontinued and nobody's biting... that's why this forum thread exists.

I run Pencott Wildlands and Greenzone, which pair really well with Kreuzotter camo.

I actually looked for one of these a few months ago when I was shopping around for chest rigs, but couldn't find one. As someone who really likes Pencott camo, I still wouldn't pay £250 for it. That's 3–4 times the original RRP, and the pouch configuration isn't necessarily ideal for everyone. You could easily end up having to buy additional pouches, which can also be pretty expensive when it comes to Pencott stuff.

I am literally in this seller's market, and I wouldn't pay anywhere near that much.

The seller wants £1400 but doesn't even take a photo of the unopened package to give some idea he actually has the product.

People always imagine a unicorn buyer who will take your out of production sale at any price.

The reality is that it usually went OOP for a reason and probably wasn't that popular, so you're actually just addressing very few buyers who know what they're looking for. They have also waited years and can wait a little longer to grind your offer price down a bit.

Miniatures had this a lot. Yes your Rogue Trader era pewter figures are very cool, very hard to find, and therefore quite collectable. No they are not investment grade sales, you might get £30 for a job lot.

Is there anything that's actually different from the standard TM SGR12? Or is it literally just got Resident evil on the box lol?

At least the RE M9s, p226s and the Lightning Hawk DEagle etc have a unique look that most people know if they have played the games.

Off the top of my head, Thor's Hammer has the Albert W. Model 02 and other Resi markings. Its mock shells in the magazines are also jade green.
