I also wouldn't be put off by a decent camo paint job but at the same time I wouldn't consider paying extra for it

I appreciate the creativity with both guns but I see them like modified cars. There's a huge sunk cost where you will rarely see a return on what you spent.

I feel he should stop himself; clearly, his flipping those BZ paint jobs isn't working. That joker's been on there for over a year, right? lol
I bet BZ would have struggled to sell those for the £400 or so they often sell them limited jobs for lol

Yeah, the Fallout paint job is a couple of years old too or not far short of it. I remember a Lucy McLean cosplayer brandishing that gun.

That would bug me to no end. I have an MP7 for sale that's dropped drastically in price because I want it gone lol so I can fund the next project.

I don't want to knock the artist's work but without either some sort of certificate of being a licensed product or really strong endorsement from the studio/production company, finding a customer willing to pay that high a price will be a challenge to put it mildly.

I must be in the minority as I quite like the Joker build & this Fallout build, not really my thing as I'm not a fanboi but artistically I like them. Don't want to own either, regardless of the price but I don't see any difference between these paint jobs of films they like and the clones I've built of films I like... they certainly look better than any pews I've rattle canned.
Yes, the pricing is a bit iffy but the fact that they've not reduced or significantly reduced the asking prices just tells me they value their rifs or don't need to sell them quickly (possibly doesn't really want to sell them).
Basically... each to their own.

£30 less than UK retail (£10 less if you factor in postage cost)... Or import one for £410 roughly making this even worse of a "deal"

Yeah I did notice that it's a clever nod. I like it allot I'm wouldn't spend that much as I'd paint it myself. But I love seeing different things not just the same black and tan stuff.

There is no studio or production company involved. There one off’s done by GearTech Customs near me. He started out doing Playstation Conrolrs but now does a lot of airsoft guns. For a one man semi commercial operation. his prices start very reasonably.
His work is to be treated like any other custom work, it may be awesome but may limit your marker earn you come to sell, especially with some of his more gamer / anime themed jobs. HIs does so great post apocalyptic / came jobs. Look him up.
