Macks airsoft dreamers of the week thread

Trigger's Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa. I guess the grip is all that's left of TM.

"This pistol was great." Was? So it's not great now?

Most importantly, it looks like a scam going by the other listings all having different backgrounds and some of the guns having orange flash hiders.

I have found the majority of scam posts on there right now are by accounts "posting for 8months" im guessing the scammers made loads of account back then and are slowing going through them. Trouble with that is eventually they will end up with year old accounts which will incorrectly look like a more legit account.

Yes, some of them definitely play the long game to win people's confidence. Either that or they hack old accounts to make themselves look more legitimate.

The seller wants a grand for "everything you need go and play" while being somewhat clueless that the kit he hand picked isn't going to be everything a buyer wants.

He's not willing to split his bundle so I reckon this is going to complete with that Joker AAP for which will sell first at a big loss.

"may be easy fixes for you if you know what you’re doing" That old chestnut! Easy fixes don't mean they're cheap.

The SCAR has lots of parts missing but the seller hasn't specified what they are. The trigger is visible so at least that and presumably the gearbox case are present. Being Ares, you'd expect a lot of the missing parts to be proprietary so sourcing replacements would be a pain in the arse.

The seller "believe(s) it’s a wiring issue" behind the KWA rifle not working. Rather vague wording. For all we know, it could be a dead or faulty ETU.

The seller may have spent a grand in total on the guns but £350 is still a big risk, even as boneyard, as the cost or practicality of spare parts may not be worth it with there being so many unknowns.

Oh yeah on the note of that Joker AAP it turned up in a BZ Tac review video which rated it, "best Joker Themed build we've seen."

That’s surely a typo, at least I’d really hope so!
They always seem to be on the cheaper end of HK retailers, I’ve never had stuff not turn up from them.
But their shipping times can vary dramatically. Some bits I’ve waited a month for them to ship, others a week max.

I've had a 66% success rate with them. šŸ˜‚

He wants a trade but doesn't bother to show pictures of the actual gun he claims to have to trade. His is apparently in tan but there's no detail on whether tan is actually a uniform colour or 50 shades of FDE.
