Macks airsoft dreamers of the week thread

£400 for a preowned (Seller says new but it's preowned so...) E&L Essential AKM? Seems a little high to me, unless I've missed something? Even with 7 mags

Its about £5 either side of RRP if you include the magazines based on like 5 minutes of looking for out of stock AKMs.

Edit - you can pick this RIF and the magazines up for like £370-£390 ish. Definitely overpriced for a secondhand RIF with no warranty or guarantee.

£450 new from BZ mags are £60 (2 extra included), dude wants £600 and its it a 2 tone

There's optimism then there's delusion selling above retail, especially as a 2-tone.

The seller is in for a rude awakening when he learns not having fielded the gun won't preserve the value like he thinks.

The Joker AAP Guy has a brand new awful paint job for you to spend far, far too much money on:

Adding to my previous comment, we must also teach Airsofters that the more specific you make the taste of an Airsoft gun, the smaller the group you will be able to sell it to.

Hasn't that guy's Joker AAP1 been for sale for over a year? lol

£10 less than retail because he's used it a few times... I like the gun power tools but I'll buy them at full price and get a warranty thanks.

Eight hundred pounds... You can buy everything new in the UK for around £750, granted the Apache is currently out of stock where I've looked but that's what Hong Kong is for 🤷🏼‍♂️

Need to get Airsofters to understand it's Used Car rules. I have no idea what the fuck you've done to it, if you're lying about never fielding it, if you live in a swamp and it just rusted internally, etc, etc.

It loses the value the moment you buy it.

Also like used cars, when it's something obscure without an established supply chain of spare parts and there are only so many technicians who can work on them, the resale value is negatively affected further.

That G&G GBBR only has so many places you can get mags from and it is its own platform in terms of its bolt, nozzle, magazine system and trigger group. It's not something with as big a spare parts list as TM MWS, VFC or GHK for example.

This. To use your used car analogy, I used to know someone who was into the car moding scene. He wasn't the max power reading wanker doing donuts in Tesco car park type and despite spending a pretty penny on project cars would always return them to normal spec when it came time to sell them on as he knew the car was more likely to sell with the fancy parts being sold separately
