ASGK stands for Airsoft Gun Kai which is in fact a regulatory body for airsoft gun manufacturers in Japan.
It is not the same people as ASG the manufacturer.

oh christ yeah, to say there's a gulf in quality between ASG and Marui is an understatement.
That said, the ASG Mk23 is a solid performer, it's a non-blow back gun so there's not really much to go wrong. Direct clone of the TM dimensionally, different materials used obviously but TM mags fit and feed fine, though you may as well just use the ASG ones since there's no performance gain to be had from using the more expensive marui ones.

I've always noticed tm mags to be really reasonably priced... I paid £25 rack for my hi capa ones. And 35 for the 50rd big boy...

Thank you everyone for your replies, I watched at least one video and read several reviews for almost all mentioned. So i gained some good insight as well as being able to choose something. Again though confused at setting out for a more expensive one and going practical instead -_- .
