I bought an LCT VSS at Splatoon on Sunday just gone, and now I am looking to put an optic on it... The side mount is different to both an AK and the SVD (As far as I can tell) so I'm not sure what it needs.

I'm eventually going to get the PSO-1 and adapter but money is tight at the moment (Unless my aug shifts ?) so looking for something to fill the gap for the mean time. Anybody own an LCT VSS that knows what side mounted picatinny rail I need?

Just a knock off B-13 basically, which thankfully other brands do exist - Although they also seem just as hard to find. I may just hold off until I can find a genuine PSO or POSP though... Was hoping a company might have made something cheap and mass produced like Cyma for the VSS though.

I found LCT's new version of their B-13 but bugger paying £60+ for one. I got one of the amazon ones today like you showed but it won't fit or even lock on. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

does it slide on at all? if it does then the part that locks may need to be opened up slightly to allow it to go all the way on

I just got one myself, and I grabbed the CYMA picatinny rail from daves customs https://www.davescustomairsoft.co.uk/cyma-ak-series-side-scope-mount it's all metal, which I was surprised at for the price. It's got a touch of side to side movement, but otherwise quite solid. £21 total with shipping.

for fitment there should be a nut to adjust tightness, you need the right balance of open to fit it on, and tight so it doesn't move. Should just slot over the locking things and slide sideways. Think of them as a broken up rail and it makes a bit more sense.

The part that should move as you swing the latch around did nothing, so it's being sent back to Amazon. I did however find another one, and one of the reviews has it fitted to a VSS so I figured I'd order it and hope for the best.
