Lct G3a4 Owners

Evening I'm looking at buying an lct g3a3 but the outer barrel is too long for me especially when the plan would be to put a silencer on so my question is if the outer barrel unscrew would I be able to use a g3 silencer adapter and then thread the silencer on to that hopefully any lct g3 owners can help me out thanks!

I think the whole barrel is one piece held on with a barrel nut under the foregrip. The Gas tube/sights mount slides over the part you might expect there to be a split.

I have no plans to take mine to bits to find out tho.
