LCT AK reassembly help.

Put together an LCT AK after swapping gearboxes between RIFs, after faffing around getting the selector in the right place for semi/auto safe. I have the issue that when going from Semi back up to automatic the trigger depresses but the motor does not engage - to get engagement I have to go back to safe and then back to auto/semi. 

Any ideas?

make sure the selector plate and the gear teeth on the other side of the gearbox are meshing up correctly. you might have lost a tooth from the selector plate.

Is the screw on the selector tightened sufficiently?  Here's a link to various causes of selector problems
