What other manufacturer parts will work? - tm, jg, ca?

The SRC hopup is specific to the SRC but all other hopups will fit but will need a new mag well which I'll now have.

Yeh, that's the bit. If you change the whole hop up unit, you also need to change the magwell as the SRC feeds the BB's differently. People have modified existing magwells with a bic biro outer but tbh I'd rather just change it. Plus I'll have one on this spare anyway.

Annoyingly, it also comes with an almost new Madbull 6.03 tight bore lol, which I've just ordered!

I would think it will be the v2 as its quite new but I'll check to make sure when it arrives.

My Madbull V2 6.03 247mm came today and it's 13mm shorter than the one that came out!

I measured the stock one at 260mm, so if you're gonna get a tightbore you might aswell get a 260mm one.

I don't think it will make any difference but it surprised me.

Yeh it fits fine. Just not flush with the end of the outer barrel.

I can't see it would cause a problem.

I think Prometheus do a 260mm but no uk stock.

I'll test fire it tomorrow and see how it shoot.

I paid £37 for mine and this one from the Echo1 gun has only had 2000 rounds through it.

Interestingly. I think SRC have copied their hop up design from Echo1.

It uses the same style magwell and the hop up chamber is very similar, although the Echo 1 has an extra spring loaded arm behind the hop up arm/nub. I'm not sure what this is for though?

Not yet Liam. I've still got that to do.

I put the Madbull 6.03 in and the Guarder rubber and it wasn't great but it was rushed. Really need another go at it to be sure.

Ran out of BB's in the end so will have to get some at some point to test it again.

I'm gonna order a 9.6v tonight though and see if it fits in the handguard.

Want me to let you know or are you gonna order one anyway?
