I really like the pistol grip on this Cypress. It's a significant design flaw on the Skorpion IMO - it is too far to the rear of the receiver for a good centre of gravity, but if the centre of gravity must be that far forward, you need a chunky grip to make aiming it in one hand instinctive. I expect it works well in the real steel to reduce muzzle climb, but I cannot help but think that a more central centre of gravity and an AKM type muzzle brake would be more effective, because you wouldn't have to learn to allow the gun to droop down lowering your aim just to end up on target for a first shot...«Cypress» was developed in the 70s, but on the armament of the army was not passed. Yeah, so this has its centre of gravity further back, like the mac 10 or 11. Ideal for excellent stopping power at very close range, but wildly inaccurate at any greater range without a suppressor to hold the muzzle down.Gun AEK 919К Kashtan is designed for arming the militia and special. units of crews
I was going to buy one of these a while ago, but I decided to buy my G36KV instead because I did not have any NATO rifles. If I can afford a modern Eastern European AEG anytime soon, since I have 2 short options, I'll be looking for an AK-12 or AN-94, maybe a Vz58V. Although I'm hoping to be able to afford the Izhmash produced AK-74 AEG if/when it goes into full production this year.
