okay ive recently purchased an SRC417, and its really beaten up (its not ment to be, i just got sent a broken RIF) one of my issues with it is that there is a giant crack on the body of it, would i be able to replace the body with this https://jdairsoft.net/upgrades/body/magpul-style-m4-complete-body-aeg and would it be easy to do or would i require an expert

Since your rifle is based off a HK416, you'll have to get a 416 body i believe, something about 416 and M4 RIS and recievers not lining up correctly

There's a good chance that this may fit (cannot guarantee though). Plus Taiwan gun are normally pretty good at restocking.

Yeah the M4 body doesn't correctly line up with the 416 so if you were to buy another receiver it would have to be a 416. Is it the upper or lower that has thr crack. Also it's a job you could do yourself easy everything is easy enough if your not going into the gearbox.
